Privacy Policy

The short version: we use your screenshots and text to make your song, and then we stop. We don’t sell your data and we don’t train models on it.

1. Introduction

Welcome to Solia (“we,” “our,” or “us”). We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application (the “App”) and our website soliamusic.app (together, the “Service”).

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

2. Information we collect

To provide and improve the App, we collect several types of information.

A. Information you provide to us

User content. The core function of the App is to turn what you give it into a song. We process the screenshots, photos, and text prompts you upload, and we store the songs, lyrics, and cover art generated from them.
Account information. Solia uses Sign in with Apple. When you sign in, we receive an identifier for your account and, depending on the choice you make in Apple’s prompt, your name and either your email address or a private relay address that forwards to you. We never receive your Apple password.
Communications. If you contact us for support, we collect your email address and the contents of your message.

B. Information collected automatically

Device information. Hardware model, operating system version, language, and device identifiers.
Usage data. Which features you use, how often you use them, and diagnostic and crash logs.
Purchase information. Whether you hold an active subscription and how many credits you have. Payments themselves are handled by Apple — see section 5.

3. How we use your information

To provide the Service. To read your screenshots and prompts, write lyrics, generate the track and its cover art, and deliver the finished song to your device.
To maintain and improve. To monitor usage, find and fix bugs, and improve the App’s quality and interface.
To communicate. To send you support replies, security notices, and important changes to the Service.
For security. To detect, prevent, and address abuse, fraud, and technical problems.

4. A special note on screenshots, photos, and how songs are made

Because the App generates songs from images and text you upload, this section deserves to be read closely.

Your screenshots and photos are processed to make your song and are not kept afterwards. Once the song has been generated, the uploaded image is discarded from our systems. The song, its lyrics, and its cover art remain in your library until you delete them.

Third-party AI providers. We use artificial-intelligence models provided by Google to read your uploads, write lyrics, and produce audio. By using the App you acknowledge that your user content may be shared with these providers for the sole purpose of generating the content you asked for, and that their handling of that content is governed by their own terms.
Sensitive information in screenshots. Please be careful not to upload screenshots containing highly sensitive personal information — passwords, financial or payment details, government identifiers, health information, or home addresses — unless you intend for it to be processed by the Service.
Other people in your screenshots. A group chat usually contains other people’s words. Only upload conversations you have the right to share, and think about whether the people in them would be comfortable with the result.
Model training. We do not use your personal images or text to train AI models.

5. How we share your information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in the situations below.

With service providers. We use third-party vendors to run the Service — cloud hosting, our database and file storage, AI processing, and analytics and crash reporting. They may only handle your information to perform services for us.
With Apple. Sign in with Apple handles authentication, and all subscriptions and credit purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We never see your full payment details. Apple’s handling of that information is governed by Apple’s privacy policy.
For legal reasons. We may disclose information if required to do so by law, or in response to a valid request by a court or government authority.
Business transfers. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
When you choose to. If you publish or share a song, the song and its cover art become visible to whoever you share them with. That is your decision, not ours.

6. Data retention and deletion

We keep your information only for as long as it is needed for the purposes described in this policy.

Uploaded screenshots and photos are discarded once your song has been generated.
Songs, lyrics, and cover art stay in your library until you delete them or delete your account.
You can delete individual songs in the App, and you can delete your account and everything associated with it at any time from inside the App or by emailing us at support@peakailabs.com.
After deletion, your data is removed from our active systems. Residual copies may remain in secure backups for a limited period before being overwritten.

7. Security

We use commercially reasonable measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit and at rest. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your privacy rights (GDPR, CCPA, and others)

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

access, update, or delete the information we hold about you;
correct information that is inaccurate;
object to or restrict how we process your information;
receive a portable copy of your information;
withdraw consent you previously gave; and
not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at support@peakailabs.com. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising, so there is nothing for you to opt out of on that front.

9. International users

We operate from the United States. If you use the Service from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States and in other countries where our service providers operate, which may have different data-protection laws than your own.

10. Children’s privacy

The App is not directed to anyone under the age of 13 (or under 16 in certain countries), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will remove it.

11. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and update the “Last updated” date above. If the changes are significant, we will let you know in the App.
